Beginning life as a maker of exhaust systems exclusively for Ferraris, Capristo has since evolved into a leading manufacturer of high-performance exhausts for all makes of road and racing cars. Its exhausts are made in Germany, where the company also has a state-of-the-art development and testing centre, where its aim is to constantly improve the efficiency of its manufacturing processes, and produce exhausts which exceed the quality levels of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) systems. In pursuing these aims, it has pioneered a variety of improvements in the design of performance exhaust systems and carbon fibre accessories, for many of which it has secured international patents.
Capristo exhausts are made from T309 stainless steel and designed for extreme temperature applications, of up to 600°C, employing precision-bent tubing produced by the most advanced machine tools available, and hand-welded construction with the utmost care and professionalism. Sports and prestige car owners appreciate the performance and sound benefits offered by Capristo exhausts, and that its aftermarket parts can put the finishing touch to a car which already has massive performance capabilities. In addition to exhausts, it has also expanded its carbon fibre manufacturing capabilities to include the ability to make a range of diffusers and bonnet sections for supercars such as the Ferrari 458 Spider and Lamborghini Huracan.
